The first cruise departs on April 28th and travels from Miami to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Georgetown, Grand Cayman before returning to Miami on May 3rd. Why is this cruise so inexpensive?

We often see comments such as "it's too good to be true"... and we understand, it's not often you can get such a great deal on cruises without being subject to eligibility requirements. This cruise deal is being offered at such low prices because both sailings were a charter cruise that was postponed (bad for them, good for you!). There are cabins available and we have negotiated a reduced rate applicable to everyone. Most cruise guests book well in advance so this is considered a "last minute" cruise and is discounted as such.

Is this a Norwegian ship?

Yes, it is like any other Norwegian Cruiseline sailing onboard the Norwegian Breakaway, complete with Norwegian's staff. Please note that there is no Free at Sea benefits on this cruise.

Is a passport required to cruise for adults and children under 18?

It is possible to cruise without a passport, however we strongly recommend that all passengers travel with a passport (valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel). Having a valid passport will enable you to fly from the U.S. to a foreign port in the event you miss your scheduled embarkation, or to fly back to the U.S. should you need to disembark the ship mid-cruise for any reason.

If you do not have a passport, then an original birth certificate (not a copy), is required for children under 18. For adults, an original birth certificate and a valid driver’s license or state issued ID is required.

Can I book my flights with PERX?

Sorry, PERX does not book air transportation. You must arrange transportation to and from the departure port of Miami.
