3 London – Stonehenge – Bath – Cardiff Meet your Travel Director this morning and stop to ponder the unsolved mysteries of the ancient monoliths of Stonehenge, as we drive west to Bath with its elegant Georgian façades and the Roman Baths. Crossing the Severn Estuary to the Welsh capital of Cardiff, we view the Millennium Centre and the National Assembly in Cardiff Bay, before seeing the Millennium Stadium and historic Cardiff Castle during our orientation of the city. 8 Dublin Your choice of sightseeing this morning could see you beat the crowds and explore the Guinness Brewery for a tour of the Storehouse including a tasting technique demonstration. 10 Liverpool – Lake District – Gretna Green – Edinburgh (2 Nights) The beautiful landscape that inspired Romantic poets provides a mesmerising backdrop for our scenic drive from the lush green hills of Lancashire to the Lake District. Meandering along the shores of Windermere, England's largest lake, we arrive in Grasmere, where William Wordsworth was said to have been inspired to write his famous poem 'Daffodils'. View the grave of this celebrated poet at St. Oswald's Church, then cross the Scottish border and visit the runaway wedding capital that is Gretna Green. 14 Stratford-upon-Avon – Bladon – Oxford – London Journey to the picturesque Cotswolds this morning to the charming little churchyard at Bladon where Sir Winston Churchill's grave. Arriving in Oxford, the oldest university city in the British Isles, we'll enjoy an orientation tour of the city to view the Radcliffe Camera and the Bodleian Library and walk around one of the famous colleges (when open).
