3 Copenhagen – Stockholm Travel north-east across the Øresund to the forests and meadows of Småland. Continue past Lake Vättern and enjoy spectacular views of Brahehus Castle en route to the Swedish capital, Stockholm. Dine tonight at your hotel. 4 Stockholm Sightseeing – At Sea Explore City Hall and view the Royal Palace during your sightseeing tour with a Local Specialist. Spend free time afterwards shopping or exploring the Old Town. Why not join an excursion to the Vasa Museum showcasing the 17th century warship reclaimed from the seabed after 300 years. Later, board your ship for an overnight mini-cruise to Finland. 6 Helsinki – St. Petersburg (3 Nights) Today we leave Finland to begin our exploration of Russia. We’ll travel along the Gulf of Finland and through the forests of Karelia before reaching St. Petersburg, our home for the next three nights. 7 St. Petersburg Sightseeing Your Local Specialist shows you the city's sights including the Tsar's Winter Palace, Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaac's Cathedral and the statue of Peter the Great. 8 St. Petersburg A full day to explore the city or join an Optional Experience to visit the fabulous gardens and spectacular fountains of Peter the Great's summer residence at Petrodvorets. Meals: Buffet Breakfast
9 St. Petersburg – Novgorod Enjoy free time this morning to explore St. Petersburg and to shop for gifts. Later, cross the vast Russian plains and view the Kremlin Fort and grounds, the Millennium Monument and St. Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod. Enjoy a unique Be My Guest dining experience this evening.
