2 Boston The choice is yours! Walk the Freedom Trail with a local guide and follow in the footsteps of those who shaped America during the Revolutionary War. Or if you prefer, ride with your local guide to see Boston’s iconic treasures including the Old South Meeting House, Public Gardens, Old North Church and Beacon Hill. 3 Boston - Woodstock, Vermont - Stowe Set out for Vermont, the “Green Mountain State.” Traditional white steeple churches, quaint villages and tree-covered mountainsides dot the charming landscape. Arrive in Woodstock, known as “the quintessential New England village” complete with a town green, covered bridge and beautifully restored Georgian homes. 4 Stowe We’re off to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Learn how this historic mill makes their delicious cider. Witness apples being transformed into cider the old-fashioned way – using a rack and cloth press – a process that has been passed down for generations. 5 Stowe - North Conway, New Hampshire Today we are New Hampshire bound! Soak in the lovely New England countryside as you journey through the White Mountains of New Hampshire to North Conway. Make a stop to explore the Rocks Estate, home to the North Country Conservation & Education Center. 6 North Conway - Lake Winnipesaukee - North Conway Journey to New Hampshire’s picturesque lakes region, a popular vacation spot for visitors year-round. Board the M/S Mount Washington and spend the next hour cruising stunning Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire's largest lake. Then, visit the charming town of Wolfeboro, the “oldest summer resort in America.” Later, return to North Conway via the Kancamagus Highway, a scenic byway offering spectacular views of the White Mountains region. 7 North Conway - Boothbay Harbor, Maine Head for Maine, arriving in beautiful Boothbay Harbor, the “boating capital of New England.” Admire the rugged coastline on a drive along picturesque Ocean Point Road. Take in the spectacular views of the coast dotted with lighthouses and summer homes and watch for local wildlife, such as the harbor seal. Learn about New England’s lobster industry and watch as a lobster trap is pulled aboard the boat with the day’s catch.
