Be charmed by the Rhine and its idyllic tributary the Moselle, legendary waterways steeped in fairy tales, captivating scenery and enchanting cultures. It’s hard to describe the Rhine and Moselle without talking about fairy tales – their banks flanked with story-book scenery, dotted in medieval villages and historic castles, some crumbling and other standing proud. The folklore that has been passed down for centuries will capture your imagination and heart; your journey will be filled with tales from Lorelei, the beautiful maiden said to lure sailors to their demise, to the Black Forest, made famous by the Brothers Grimm. You, too, will go home with many tales to tell.
Laidback elegance and relaxing luxuries are paramount features of the Scenic Crystal. Enjoy panoramic views of Europe as you walk the outdoor track on the Sun Deck; or, for a more intimate experience, relax on your private balcony. Gourmet meals with wine are available each day in the dining room or on selected evenings in Portobello’s, an exclusive Italian restaurant. A butler service is available to attend to your needs, including coffee and tea, which are available all day.
