Will I need to be vaccinated?

Guests over 12 years of age scheduled to sail aboard Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Equinox or Celebrity Summit out of South Florida must be fully vaccinated in order to sail.

Guests under the age of 12 are not required to be vaccinated, but will be subject to our COVID-19 testing policy.

This requirement is effective August 17, 2021. This update to our policy now means that all sailings – departing from the US or abroad – have the same vaccination policy.

If a guest will not be vaccinated or will not be showing proof of vaccination they have three options:

  1. Cancel for 100% refund of amounts paid on the booking.
  2. Opt into the Cruise With Confidence policy to receive 100% Future Cruise Credit.
  3. Move funds on the booking to an alternate sailing at prevailing rates. Penalties would then reset based on the new sail date.
  • Please note, we are NOT offering Lift and Shift and we will NOT be protecting rates.
  • For reservations with amounts previously paid with an FCC, cash amounts paid on the booking will be refunded and a FCC will be reissued for values previously covered with an FCC.

Will I need to wear a mask onboard?

Updated Mask Protocols for unvaccinated children has changed on EG, EQ, ML, SM, FL, XP and XO to the following:

  • Following CDC Guidelines, masks will not be required for vaccinated guests. Masks are required for unvaccinated guests under 12 years old while indoors when not in their stateroom, eating or drinking.

Before you book - Flexible Booking Policy

You have up to 48 hours before you sail to cancel and receive 100% Future Cruise Credit to use by April 30, 2022 toward any sailing through September 30, 2022.

  • For cancelation within any phase of penalty, refunds will be issued as Future Cruise Credit (FCC) for the full cruise fare amount.
  • In order to receive 100% FCC, your booking must be paid in full.
  • For cancelation outside of penalty, your refund will be issued to the original form of payment.
  • Nonrefundable Deposit Bookings: If canceled outside of penalty, the full deposit amount will be returned (without penalty) in the form of an FCC. If canceled within any phase of penalty, the cruise fare including full deposit (without penalty) will be issued as an FCC.
  • Bookings made with FCCs from suspended sailings will also benefit from the new Cruise With Confidence policy.

For residents of Australia and New Zealand, Cruise with Confidence applies to sailings through June 30th, 2022. The Future Cruise Credit may be applied on or before April 30, 2022 to a sailing scheduled to depart on or before December 31, 2022 only.

For residents of Brazil, Cruise with Confidence applies to sailings through May 4th, 2022. The Future Cruise Credit may be applied on or before December 31, 2022 to a sailing scheduled to depart on or before December 31, 2022 only.

All non-US residents must present a negative NAAT or Antigen test taken 3 days prior to their flight’s departure.

While Ashore

Independent On-Your-Own tours are available unless locally restricted. While in port, guests must comply with local guidelines. Most experiences are outdoors, and guests will be encouraged to stay with their group. Buses will be at reduced capacity and will be sanitized frequently. Small Group Discoveries will be available, and for guests that prefer to tour with their family or group, Private Journeys will be available. Celebrity is working closely with local government to comply with their requirements.
