Update: December 6, 2021 - COVID19 test and the Stay Safe Plus Insurance:

  1. PALLADIUM HOTEL GROUP continues to closely monitor the latest developments surrounding COVID19. They are aware of several countries are requiring a negative COVID19 test result from air passengers prior to boarding an international flight to their destinations.
  2. They remain true to the commitment of providing a seamless and safe travel experience for all, and have actively worked to offer convenient and affordable onsite testing options for guests having to meet those requirements.
  3. The following information regarding onsite testing will be available at the hotel for guests whose countries have imposed a mandatory testing requirement*. The Front Desk Team will assist guests onsite with scheduling their test accordingly.

ONSITE TESTING FOR ALL TRAVELERS:

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that all passengers entering to the United States and many other countries are required to present proof of negative COVID19 test lab, for testing conducted within 72 hours of arrival.

a) The Palladium Hotel Group we will continue providing this service on site.

b) All guests with a minimum stay of 7 nights or more, will have the antigen test on complimentary basis, until further notice.

c) Starting August 01, 2021, all new and existing reservations of guests arriving to any Palladium property around the world can get the test at the following cost:

MEXICO:

Costa Mujeres - (Antigen test $35) - (PCR test $135)

Riviera Maya - (Antigen test $35) - (PCR test $150)

Puerto Vallarta - (Antigen test $35) - (PCR test $150)

Cancun - (Antigen test $25) - (PCR test $95)

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC:

Punta Cana - (Antigen test $25) - (PCR test $90)

Cap Cana - (Antigen test $25) - (PCR test $90)

JAMAICA:

Montego Bay - (Antigen test $40) - (PCR test $150)

d) Guests fully recovered from COVID19 in the last 3 months (90 days) preceding the flight’s departure from an international destination, may choose to present “documentation of recovery” that includes positive viral test results and an official letter from a healthcare provider stating they have been cleared for travel.

QUARANTINE & STAY SAFE PLUS INSURANCE:

QUARANTINE: Palladium Hotel Group will continue offering (until further notice) up to 10 days on complimentary stay for 2 for arrivals between August 01 and December 31, 2021, in the event any of our guests test positive while staying on property and requires quarantining.

If a guest receives a positive test while on property that prevents departure, the Stay Safe Plus FREE Health Insurance™ will enter into effect where applicable. The cost of quarantine at the property will be covered for up to 10 days. Extended stay due to quarantine includes the guest, who will be isolated; plus, up to 3 (three) travel companions sharing the same room. This insurance is valid for 12 months, starting from the date the hotels were re-opened.

Please contact your PERX Vacation Consultant to learn more about the White Book Health & Safety Protocols™ and the Stay Safe Plus FREE Health Insurance™ which will cover expenses related to COVID19 to all guests. This insurance is offered by Palladium Hotel Group® completely free of charge for 1 Year from the moment of re-opening for each property. This is an industry-leading initiative offered by the Palladium Hotel Group to help Guests to travel with confidence. It is in effect from the moment of Check-in until the Check-Out and may cover up to $100,000 Euros* (or its equivalent in US dollars) in expenses associated with COVID19 infection, such as medical fees, medicine from the medical care provided, as well as hospitalization expense and ambulance expenses requested by a doctor; medical transfers of patients; emergency transfer to hospital; extension of stay; repatriation; driver services for medical reasons; return of companions and more.

*Amounts are specified in Euros, which will be converted to local currency’s exchange rate of the date of the transaction.

It is important to emphasize that most aspects of this service are beyond Palladium’s control, as we depend on qualified thirdparty providers, who are also depending on several variants while they comply with many requirements, such as local government regulations, certifications, customs, global supply-demand, etc. Palladium Hotel Group® does not accept any responsibility or liability for the malpractice related to the use of this service and does not recognize it as part of the services offer by our hotel(s), but as an external service provided by a third-party.
