The MS Fram, purpose-built for expedition cruising, is a remarkable vessel designed to bring travelers closer to the wild and unspoiled regions of the world. With space for just 250 guests, it offers an intimate and comfortable setting for polar exploration, carrying forward the legacy of the legendary Norwegian exploration vessel once helmed by Fridtjof Nansen. Following a refurbishment in 2022, MS Fram returned to service on May 26, 2025, with upgraded cabins and a brand-new Science Center to enhance the onboard experience.
Highlights of the ship include its Nordic-inspired interiors, two restaurants (including the fine-dining Restaurant Lindstrøm), and the Explorer Lounge & Bar, where guests can enjoy hand-crafted cocktails while taking in panoramic views. The upgraded Science Center serves as the heart of the ship, offering lectures, workshops, and interactive learning opportunities led by the Expedition Team. Guests can also unwind in the sauna, hot tubs, or well-equipped gym after a day of adventure.
With its redesigned Expedition Suites, featuring private balconies and optional hot tubs, and a focus on comfort and sustainability, MS Fram is the perfect base camp for those seeking an unforgettable journey to the planet's most remote and awe-inspiring destinations.
