Cunard does NOT allow for the splitting of cabins (one for the employee and one for the spouse). If both the employee and spouse are traveling they must share the same cabin. A Letter of Interline Eligibility, from the Interliners’ respective Airlines’ Human Resource Department, IS REQUIRED before Cunard will release cruise documents. An Identification Badge will not be accepted in lieu of the Letter of Airline Eligibility. Cruise Shopping Tips

♦  The higher the deck and the more center ship, the higher the price and accommodation are generally the same in each meta-category.

♦  Flexibility = Savings. Just want to get away? Look for the destination with the best interline savings based on your time off.

♦  Look for cruise departures offering a ROS Inside OR Outside where the inside and outside rates are exactly the same.

♦  In the old days of cruising, you would be given tip envelopes the last day of the cruise. Now, tips are automatically added to your stateroom account, so you don’t have to scramble for the correct amount of cash on the last day!

♦  Protect your vacation investment with insurance. Cruises do not offer bump protection.

Proof of Eligibility

It’s imperative for you to provide proof of eligibility, either in the form of a copy of your airline ID or a letter from a supervisor/pass bureau on airline letterhead stationary proving interline eligibility. If proof of eligibility is not received in a timely manner (varies by cruise line) the interline rate is in danger of reverting to a retail rate, costing you hundreds of dollars.
