  • Length: 616 f ft
  • Tonnage: 25,50
  • Total Staff: 45

The play of light on glass and water transforms this magnificent ship into a floating work of art. Carrying only 800 passengers, the intimate Costa Allegra cruise ship is a vessel of imagination and opulence. On the Costa Allegra, you will find art and artistry around out every corner.

In March/April 2006 the Costa Allegra underwent a substantial refit prior to her debut in China. The refurbished interiors are more richly decorated and classical in design, with a strong Italian flavor and neoclassical style, while retaining the vessel’s distinctive “crystal ship” appearance and modern airy architecture. The Allegra has 386 cabins and 13 suites, comprising 10 with private verandas. Her facilities include 3 restaurants with Italian and Asian specialties, one being an a la carte restaurant with advance booking only, 5 bars, 2 pools, a wellness center, theater, shopping centre, casino and disco.

What’s it all about…

Over the past 15 years, cruising has been revolutionized – and you are responsible for the changes!  Cruisers spoke, and the cruise lines listened. You were looking for flexibility & choice, a quality experience, and most importantly, an excellent value. The cruise lines have made countless changes –there are dining choices, both times and venues, a variety of new departure ports, new & exciting onboard activities, such as climbing walls, surfing, ice skating, bowling, & cooking demonstrations and new stateroom amenities to enhance comfort. Spas have been expanded and include the latest treatments, children's programs have been expanded, cruises are much more family friendly that ever before, and state-of-the-art facilities were added for gyms, sports, communication, entertainment, and fun. In today’s world, more than ever, cruising offers the best possible value and experience for your vacation dollar.  And interline rates? They are confirmed space!

Cruise Shopping Tips

♦  The higher the deck and the more center ship, the higher the price and accommodation are generally the same in each meta-category.

♦  Flexibility = Savings. Just want to get away? Look for the destination with the best interline savings based on your time off.

♦  Look for cruise departures offering a ROS Inside OR Outside where the inside and outside rates are exactly the same.

♦  In the old days of cruising, you would be given tip envelopes the last day of the cruise. Now, tips are automatically added to your stateroom account, so you don’t have to scramble for the correct amount of cash on the last day!

♦  Protect your vacation investment with insurance. Cruises do not offer bump protection.

Proof of Eligibility

It’s imperative for you to provide proof of eligibility, either in the form of a copy of your airline ID or a letter from a supervisor/pass bureau on airline letterhead stationary proving interline eligibility. If proof of eligibility is not received in a timely manner (varies by cruise line) the interline rate is in danger of reverting to a retail rate, costing you hundreds of dollars.
