Phones back up!  Friday was a wacky day here in Austin where rain and leaky roofs wreaked havoc on our supposedly secure off-site data facility.  In any event, around 2:30 this morning service was restored with the exception of some of our fax circuits.  Our team should be there at 8:00 to assist you, and provide alternative fax numbers in the event that you require them.  Thanks for your patience and Happy Travels!

You know, I quick look at the calendar would suggest that summer is right around the corner!  It is time to get busy bookings folks.  For those of you wanting to lock something down…hello resort deals are amazing right now…

NEWS FLASH!  The CDC has removed the travel warning for Mexico!

Cruise wise this is going to be a very last minute summer season I’m afraid.  The cruise lines booking projections are all whackadoodle as everyone is booking last minute.  So our advice is…to check back often as Patti is highlighting new deals on a daily basis. It’s going to be that kind of year so buckle up!

It’s a new week and it seems like your chance of catching the flu are about as good as winning the Derby as a 50 to 1 long shot…okay bad analogy.  Things are returning to normal, but the flu ripples have kicked up some spectacular last minute deals on cruises out of LAX & SAN.  Patti’s got all the detail.

Howdy folks!  It is time to get busy.  Yes, we’re in Full Flu Mode here at PERX.  No we don’t have it, though half the office was in CUN last weekend, but yes we are responding to it.  

After dealing with all those that had plans to travel to Mexico over the next couple of weeks, and evacuating Jaine & Fernando from ACA on Monday, we spent yesterday waiting for the dominoes to start falling.  And falling they are.  We’ve just negotiated some amazing rates for Mariner of the Seas, check out Patti’s blog for the latest.

WELCOME TO PERX!

Howdy Travel Fans!  Welcome to the “All New PERX.com”.  So what’s new? Probably the biggest change is that we’ve merged the Specials & Cruises section into a new Cruises section that will allow you to easily browse every cruise destination, cruise line or duration.  Also on these displays we’ve merged restricted interline rates from unrestricted civilian rates.  The key is that to tell them apart, the interline rates will be displayed in “red”.

Elsewhere, we've added some new toys to help point out where the really hot deals are every day and blogs by Patti, Jaine & Hala, our Tour Diva.  The registration section has been simplified...good news!  You will no longer have to wait for a confirmation email before you begin enjoying the site.
